This image was shot while I was engulfed in the tradition and culture of Cambodia's Khmer New Year celebrations at Angkor Watt in Siem Reap. This important Cambodia holiday incorporates history, tradition, culture, family, and religion and is held over three days marking the end of the harvest season before the summer rains begin. It’s only during these three days that Angor Wat is illuminated at sunset every evening and I capture this shot as an amazing, fun-filled day ends with a gorgeous, glimmering Angkor Wat backdrop.
